GI Annual Report
GI briefed us to design their annual report. The theme created for the project was based on DNA to emphasis how GI is an evolving, growing business and the unique capabilities and originality they offer as a business.
Following the GI branding and use of existing colour palette we designed the DNA strands to run throughout this piece of literature.
Jellybean mailing pack and movie showreel
To showcase the new digital mail pack and also celebrate GI's 21st birthday party in style with a boat party and product launch on the Thames in London. As part of a new product launch and 21st birthday event we were requested to design a movie showreel and mail pack designs for their recent investment into digital printing. The new digital envelope product being launched provides a colour personalised letter, matching personalised outer envelope and the additional option of having a personalised tipped-on card. The showreel we produced had to get all of this across in a concise, punchy manner in under 1 minute.
GI Press Release: 'World’s first Digital Envelope mail pack launched by GI Solutions'
The world’s first Digital Envelope mail pack has been launched by GI Solutions.
The new product, produced on new £2m CMC equipment, combines two digitally printed reels of paper to create a personalised mail pack. Additional features includes the application of personalised cards, up to six selectable inserts and the ability to include window film patching. It delivers 20,000 C5 packs per hour fully matched and enclosed.
The ability to use digital printed reels allows the speed of turnaround, flexibility and personalisation capabilities of digital print to be used on both the letter and the envelope of a mail pack. This allows multiple brands to be used in the same mailing to maximise postage tariffs, variable images to be used on both the envelope and the letter and personalised information to be shown in highlight colour.
